Guardnexa TriView installation guide
Use this guide to plan a reliable installation. Always follow the quick-start instructions supplied with your camera.
Before mounting
- Fully charge the camera before first use.
- Confirm that a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal is available at the intended location.
- Pair and test the camera near your router before permanent installation.
- Check the live view to confirm that the chosen angle covers the intended area.
Choose a useful position
- Mount high enough to reduce easy interference while keeping faces and activity visible.
- Avoid pointing directly at intense lights, reflective surfaces or constantly moving branches.
- Position the solar panel where it can receive suitable daylight and is not heavily shaded.
- Keep the camera within dependable Wi-Fi range.
Mount and seal
- Mark the bracket holes and confirm that the mounting surface is suitable.
- Use appropriate fixings for the surface material.
- Secure the camera and solar panel, then adjust both angles.
- Keep charging ports and weather covers fully closed after setup.
Configure the app
- Set motion sensitivity for the area.
- Choose alert preferences.
- Set recording preferences and confirm compatible local storage where used.
- Test two-way audio, night viewing and remote movement.
Improve reliability
If alerts or live viewing are inconsistent, test Wi-Fi strength at the camera, move the router or use an appropriate network extender. Solar performance can be improved by reducing shade and adjusting the panel toward stronger daylight.
